1. Learn to Fly. Not only is this a classic song of theirs from the 90s, but the music video is probably my favorite music video of all-time. They're hilarious! I love how they don't take themselves so seriously. I mean, they're kind of a big freakin' deal, but they still manage to stay grounded while doing what they love. It makes them seem more, I don't know, human. Not that they're robots or anything. And let's be honest, if I walked on a plane and saw Dave Grohl sitting there, I would do the exact same thing as the girl in this video (who is also Dave Grohl, in case you were too stupid to notice).
2. All My Life. I remember the first time I ever heard this song. I was watching Fuse or something and immediately fell in love with it when it came on. I would say that was probably my first real exposure to the awesome that is the Foo Fighters.
3. Everlong. One of my all-time favorite songs. It will never, ever get old.
4. Wheels (Acoustic Version). This is one of the greatest things I've ever discovered on YouTube. For some reason I get chills every time I listen to this version. Dave Grohl has a delicious voice.
5. Walk. This song comes off of their most recent album, Wasting Light. I love it because it talks about second chances and how we all have the opportunity to start over whenever we feel like we're not doing the best we can. We need to realize that life is what we make it and sometimes that requires us to take matters into our own hands to get what we believe we deserve.
Welp folks, that's it from me for now. Stay tuned for more updates on What I'm Listening To!
